At MOCO Boutique, we fit check every single pair of denim that arrives.  We have less than a 1% return rate because of our fit team advice and detailed sizing information. 

First things first— If you are new to boutique women’s odd denim sizing, you are going to take your highest even size in a store and subtract 1 (note, this is NOT sizing down, this is your true MOCO denim size).

For example, if you are a 10 in a store, your true MOCO denim size is a 9.  If you are a 12 in a store, your true size is an 11.   If you can wear two even sizes depending on the store, your true size is in the middle.  For example, if you are sometimes a 14 and sometimes a 12, your true size is a 13.

Curvy (14w-24w): Your true MOCO denim size is the even size below your store size. For example, if you are an 18w in a store, your true MOCO denim size is a 16w.

From here, you’re going to follow our specific sizing advice for each pair of denim. 

Sometimes, we may tell you to stay true to your MOCO denim size.  Sometimes, we may tell you to size down a size from your true MOCO denim size.  Sometimes, we may tell sizes 0-15 to size down and sizes 14w-24w to stay true to size.  Remember, each pair of jeans has different advice based on the fit of our fit models. 

Specific sizing advice for this pair of denim:

Sizes 1-15:  Size down 1 size from your true MOCO denim size described above.  For example, if you are a 12 in a store, your true size is an 11, and in these you would get a 9. 

Sizes 14w-24w: Stay true to your MOCO denim size described above.  For example, if you are a 20w in a store, your true MOCO denim size is an 18w and you would stay true to that size in this specific pair.

Jess is a 4 in stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 3. In these, she prefers the 1 (sized down one size).

Sarah is a 4 in stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 3. In these, she prefers the 1 (sized down one size).

Alyssa is an 8 in stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 7. In these, she prefers the 5 (sized down one size).

DaVette is a 6 in stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 5. In these, she prefers the 3 (sized down one size).

Lindsay is a 22w in stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 20w. In these, she wears a 20w (true to size).
